Zoe Carr, BID Manager

Zoe Carr is a long term local resident and business woman.

With a career spanning 30 years which includes supporting small businesses and start-ups, running her own business, and consulting with a wide variety of organisations such as global companies, government departments, charities and small businesses, the BID is a project which is close to her heart.

“I’ve lived locally for over 30 years, brought my two sons up here, shopped, eaten and drunk in the area. To be able to support the further development of the area and the businesses and to put back into the community is something that I’m really excited about,”

As the Manager of the Penge Business Improvement District (BID). 50% of her time will be spent working as BID Manager for Penge the other 50% will be working on the Beckenham BID. (Neither on their own would be a full time post.)

Mark Painter, Chair of Penge SE20 BID board

Mark has been in the property industry for over 25 years and runs MPRetail, a commercial property consultancy, based in Penge. He is heavily involved in local community events and organisations such as The Penge Tourist Board and Penge Community Canteen.

“…We need to grab this opportunity and make sure that Penge benefits in the way that we know it can..(winning the BID) gives us greater opportunities and already, this proposal has brought us closer together, which can only be a good thing for the future, as we look to promote Penge and all that it has to offer.”

 Street Rangers

Our Penge street rangers.  They act as an ambassadors for the BID, liaising with our members, assisting the public, etc. Also discouraging anti social behaviour and they will be able to report graffiti and fly tipping.
