Grant for occupying a vacant unit – We are supporting the recovery of the vibrancy of our retail and commercial areas in the borough by offering grants to businesses that would like to occupy a vacant property. This grant funding programme will provide grants to existing businesses to assist with the set up costs associated with occupying a vacant unit. Cultural Grant – We are supporting the recovery of the vibrancy of our town centres by bringing cultural activity into the heart of them. This cultural grant funding programme will provide grants to cultural organisations based in the borough of Bromley to bring events and activities into our town centres. All types of cultural and creative organisations, of all sizes, are encouraged to apply, including self-employed artists and performers. We want to see theatrical productions, live cooking demonstrations, family art activities, book readings, historical walking tours, traditional live music, and much more attracting visitors into towns across the borough. Applications are open for grants between £2,000 and £20,000. Further information on ARG – cultural grant
Business Growth Scheme – We are supporting the recovery and growth of the local economy by offering grants to existing businesses that are looking to grow into or from within the London Borough of Bromley. The types of growth we are expecting to fund are borough located businesses that want refurbish their office to create more space, the purchase of equipment that will enable the business to grow the services they offer, or Bromley businesses that do not need physical space but want to take the opportunity to grow online. All types of business growth will be considered. Applications are open for grants between £5,000 and £25,000. Further information on ARG – business growth grant
The Business Start up during COVID grant will go live shortly. This grant funding programme targets businesses that set up during the pandemic (after the 1st January 2020) and were severely impacted by the restrictions on businesses during this time. Applications for a grant up to £10,000 will be accepted as soon as the this scheme launches. Date of launch to follow.
